The Job Corps Program assists Muckleshoot Tribal members in the development of employability and life skills providing them with the tools to translate their Job Corps experience into successful employment.
Participants are assisted with accomplishing their GED and getting their drivers license, both of which are keys to future employability. Participants are also provided a number of workshops and training that provides additional life skills and knowledge that assist a young adult as they emerge into personal and financial independence.
In its second year of existence, the Job Corps program saw 45% of the participants receive full time employment upon completion of the program. While , 70% of our participants receive their GED and 68% of Job Corps participants have received their Washington State Drivers Licenses.
