 VISION:

A community in harmony and interconnected with all things, where Spirits are strong and good; a place where families and relations are healthy and united.

To promote the generations-past, present & future-so our People will carry on the wisdom and traditional ways of our ancestors.

To honor, support, and encourage the People to grow and find their way; to live in a good way; to walk proudly into the future.

MISSION:

To improve the quality of life for the clients, their families and the community we serve; to integrate the meaning and the importance of balance by utilizing holistic teachings in our approach to behavioral health services; to offer comprehensive services that are responsive to the needs of the Tribe and it's most greatest resource-it's members and their loved ones.

Muckleshoot Behavioral Health serves clients of all ages, providing services for individuals, couples, families, and groups.  The primary purpose is to improve the quality of life for Tribal members by assessing and treating behavioral conditions that interfere with daily functioning and to prevent these conditions from occurring in the first place.  This purpose is achieved through assessment, evaluation, treatment and intervention as well as ongoing case management and appropriate referral and follow up care.

Current outpatient programming includes: chemical dependency, mental health, psychiatric care and medication management; we also offer outreach, advocacy, prevention services and case management.  Residential programming includes the operation of a 16 bed Adult Recovery House, which is located within walking distance of the outpatient clinic.

Behavioral Health provides regular activities and programs such as: mentoring groups, family camps, coyote clan, clean and sober recreation, outdoor adventures, youth alcohol and drug prevention, education and intervention/treatment.  We also host a weekly grief and loss group, a monthly family constellation group and support the domestic violence healing circle; Behavioral Health and MIT assist in coordinating an annual Sobriety Powwow.

The program works closely with many partners and referral networks to offer comprehensive care, including: Medical, Dental, Wellness, ICW, Courts/Probations, Job Corps, Education, residential treatment/detoxification, and specialty providers.
