This year’s Back to School Bash in partnership with the Youth Health Fair on Aug. 27 was the perfect sendoff to summer – and our community showed up ready to celebrate.
Throughout the day, the youth development program engaged with individuals who dedicate their lives to public service, they met local firefighters, learned about emergency equipment, and gained insight on how quick thinking saves lives.
Gray skies and rain didn’t stop Sla-Hal players, singers, families and spectators from filling the grounds near Muckleshoot Casino Resort for three days of competition and community Sept. 11-13.
