
Your vote is your voice! In preparation of the 2026 Tribal Council Election, Muckleshoot Tribal members should familiarize themselves with the following important dates.
If you wish to nominate someone to be a candidate to run in the 2026 Election to fill any vacant position, you must be present at the Public Caucus to be held at the Philip Starr Building in the Cougar Room on October 14, 2025 at 6pm. Nominations can only be made by those present at the Public Caucus. No person may nominate more than one person. Sign-In & Doors Close at 6pm.
If for any reason you would like to vote by mailed absentee ballot, you should request an absentee ballot from the Election Administrator no later than the third Monday of November which is November 17, 2025. Completed mailed absentee ballots must be received at the Election Post Office, PO Box 1697, Auburn, WA 98071-1697 by January 16, 2026.
On the third Monday of January (January 19, 2026) there will be an election to fill three (3) Tribal Council positions. The election will be held at the Philip Starr Building in the Cougar Room from 8am – 8pm.
The Court will be undergoing construction from March 19 through approximately May 5. During this period, all court hearings will be conducted via Zoom.
The month of March is Women’s History Month. We celebrate all the women in our lives and our thankful for all the Muckleshoot women who have fought for our Tribal Sovereignty.
The Muckleshoot community filled the floor with love, laughter, and good medicine on Feb. 7 at this year’s Valentine’s Winter Powwow.
On March 8, visitors experienced a rich blend of cultural sharing and environmental learning. As Seattle’s Host Tribe, the Muckleshoot Indian Tribe co-hosted a reflection of their partnership with the Seattle Aquarium.
