
Your vote is your voice! In preparation of the 2026 Tribal Council Election, Muckleshoot Tribal members should familiarize themselves with the following important dates.
If you wish to nominate someone to be a candidate to run in the 2026 Election to fill any vacant position, you must be present at the Public Caucus to be held at the Philip Starr Building in the Cougar Room on October 14, 2025 at 6pm. Nominations can only be made by those present at the Public Caucus. No person may nominate more than one person. Sign-In & Doors Close at 6pm.
If for any reason you would like to vote by mailed absentee ballot, you should request an absentee ballot from the Election Administrator no later than the third Monday of November which is November 17, 2025. Completed mailed absentee ballots must be received at the Election Post Office, PO Box 1697, Auburn, WA 98071-1697 by January 16, 2026.
On the third Monday of January (January 19, 2026) there will be an election to fill three (3) Tribal Council positions. The election will be held at the Philip Starr Building in the Cougar Room from 8am – 8pm.
On Feb. 27 Muckleshoot Tribal Council welcomed Seattle Mayor Katie Wilson, they shared history of the Tribe and talked about the importance of Native American voter outreach activities and engagement across Indian country.
Our Elders answered the call from Puyallup Tribe of Indians with a little Jailhouse Rock dance!
The Muckleshoot Tribal School King Boys basketball team made the trip to Spokane for the WIAA tournament to represent our community.
On February 17, the Muckleshoot Tribal Council gathered in chambers to present a 100,000-dollar donation to the National Indian Child Welfare Association.
