Youth Paddle to Puyallup 2024

Here’s your handy clip & save guide map to the Youth Paddle to Puyallup 2024. You can cut it out, fold it up, and carry it in your purse or pocket.

Muckleshoot will start out at Port Townsend, arriving on Friday, July 26, where they will join canoe families from Vancouver Island and the Olympic Peninsula.

From there, they will travel to Port Gamble (July 27) and Suquamish (July 28), before Muckleshoot welcomes 50+ canoes to the beach at Saltwater State Park on Monday, July 29. Open floor protocols will be held. Further information will be made available as plans firm up. From Saltwater State Park, the canoes will travel to Owen Beach for a soft landing on July 30, followed by the Puyallup grand landing on Wednesday, July 31. Navigation address for the landing site is 4224 Marine View Drive, Tacoma. Protocols will be held from Thursday, August 1 through Tuesday, August 5 at (navigation address) 3515 72nd Street E, Tacoma, WA.

Ten years after signing the Elliott Bay Seawall Memorandum of Agreement, the city and Muckleshoot Tribe have agreed on a building for a Tribal center, located directly across the street from the Seattle Aquarium and the new Waterfront Park.
